Baluchari Silk Saree, Mustard base with heavy mina work (double threaded motifs of maroon and white) done all over the body. This is a hand-woven saree, sourced directly from the weavers in Bishnupur, West Bengal. The saree is woven using pure Bishnupuri silk.
The aanchal has multiple themes of royal court with Nawab and dancing girls. The body has several different designs.
The
heavy thread work all over the body is extremely difficult to weave and needs
highly skilled weavers. The mustard and maroon combination gives the saree an
elegant look. Suitable for elegant women of all ages.
